It’s still Beauty Awards Month here on Powder; we’ve already awarded the best skincare products with their prizes and the makeup winners are smiling smugly over their trophies. This week however, we are here to celebrate the best body products the beauty world has to offer. From the most indulgent body oils to the top tanners, we reveal our favourites.

So without further ado, here we go…

Body scrub:

1st place: Clarins Tonic Body Polisher, £33

There is no feeling more satisfying than jumping into the shower, filling your hand with a rich, but coarse, body scrub and feeling like you are physically ridding your body of unwanted dead skin cells. Add to that the scent of ‘spa’ (so difficult to put into words, but once you get one whiff you’ll totally get it) and you have yourself this Clarins Toning Body Polisher.

2nd place: Sanctuary Spa Ultimate Salt Scrub, £13
Despite it’s low price of £13, this incredible salt scrub is worth so much more. It comes in a chic clear tub that looks insane on any bath side, it’s super nourishing and it leaves skin looking slick and healthy.

3rd place: Origins Ginger Body Scrub, £25

At the risk of sounding weird, every time we use this scrub, we get the urge to eat it, because it smells so bloody good. The thick consistency tackles even the most stubborn of areas.

Body oil:

1st place: Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Oil Spray, £28.99
When this stuff came out, it was like all of our beauty prayers had been answered. We’d been devout users of the original 8-Hour Cream, which works wonders on cuticles, dry elbows and chapped lips, but using it on our limbs was just a no-no. The consistency is too thick and too sticky. And then this came along and changed our lives forever. All the same nurturing ingredients, but in a handy spray on oil. Its plastic casing means that it’s brilliant for travel, but don’t keep it just for then; this a year-round product.

2nd place: This Works Deep Sleep Night Oil, £25
This Works spent years perfecting their famous Deep Sleep Pillow Spray. Once they’d achieved it, they put all of their knowledge into the rest of the Deep Sleep range. And thank goodness. We challenge anyone to stay awake after using this oil.

3rd place: Bamford Botanic Body Oil, £38
God this stuff is dreamy. It’s thick, it feels expensive and it smells divine. Enough said.

Body Cream:

1st place: Exuviance Retexturing Treatment, £32
This is truly a wonder product. It doesn’t look sexy and it won’t be the shining star in your #shelfie Instagram post, but it is the most effective body cream we have ever used. The thing that makes it so marvellous is that not only does it boosts moisture levels, thanks to the vitamin E and shea butter, but it’s also packed full of glycolic acid, which sloughs away dead skin cells, smooths out uneven texture (you know those little bumbs that you get on the tops of your legs and backs of arms) and encourages cell turnover. What does this mean? The softest and smoothest skin ever.

2nd place: Kiehls Crème de Corps, from £9
The original, the classic. We panic when we’re running low, because we’re addicted to stroking our silky limbs. (Don’t judge us for being weird.)

3rd place: Vaseline Spray and Go Aloe Fresh, £2.89
This has revolutionised the way that we moisturise our bods. We spritz all over, pull our clothes on and are out the door in half the time. As it says: spray and go.
