Suffice to say that here at Powder we love all things make-up, but so often get bogged down with the nitty gritty details of it (stobing, contouring...we could go on) and niggling bugbears (successfully trying to cover up a big spot) that we forget what fun make-up can be. Someone who, like us, sees the playful side of make-up is Laetitia Wajnapal, one of the original bloggers who founded Mademoiselle Robot way back when.

Laetitia says: ‘I think if you look after your skin really well from a young age (my motto is “moisturise, moisturise, moisturise!”), you create a really good base and don’t have to worry about make-up too much. I like make-up to be something fun to play with and enhance what I have, not a chore to cover everything up.’

We couldn’t wait to get chatting to her about what playful pow products she has in her Beauty Drawer…

Lancôme Miracle Cushion Foundation: The new "cushion" foundations hailing from South Korea are a godsend for looking natural! The texture is so light, the application is super easy and it blends really well.

Little Ondine Nail Polish: A non-toxic nail polish range that doesn't smell and just peels off when you are done. It comes in a decent amount of colours and goes on like a dream.

Dolce & Gabbana Perfect Finish Concealer Pen: Because at 36, I need a little bit of help with the dark circles under my eyes, you know? This is what I am currently using and I love it. It is light, glides on and blends well.

Mountain Ocean Coconut Skin Trip: I use this as a body moisturiser and it is absolutely brilliant at being totally natural, very light and extremely nourishing at the same time.

Skyn Iceland Face-Lift-in-a-Bag: The name makes me giggle so that is always a plus. I might be the only one finding this amusing but never mind. A 10-minute face mask that will leave you looking more plump and rested - where do I sign?
